Get cosy on the sofa with awamu

Don’t know about you, but as the days grow darker in the UK, we grow fonder and fonder of our sofa. So we’ve made ours a colourful, cosy nest for hibernating in with some of our beautiful new cushions handmade for you by Sarah Kabenge.

They are 100% cotton, hard wearing and whether it is education grants or skills training that helps guardians earn an income, every penny we raise through sales and donations goes towards projects that are making life better for kids like Tom and Jaliya.

awamu at Camden Lock night market

We will be at Camden Lock Night Market on Thursday 29th November from 5-10pm for an evening of shopping, music, good food and workshops.

We will be in the We Make London area located in the Lower Market Hall of the beautiful Victorian Camden Lock buildings – the area will feature some of the UK’s most exciting designer-makers.

The evening will be accompanied by beautiful music from the Salvation Army and Camden Lock favourites Camden Guitars performing Christmas songs played in a Spanish style (yes really!)…so why not take a walk down Camden memory lane with us 🙂

Public Transport: Camden Lock Market can be easily reached by Tube or Overground. Camden Town and Camden Road are the closest two stations.

Parking: Parking is free around Camden from 6.30pm.
